Mission Statement

ASL Christians is an America Sign Language (ASL) group of God’s servants that come together through the Grace and Truth of Jesus Christ by creating a sign language friendly environment to reveal His power that will be shown through them. (Exodus 4:11; John 9:1-3; John 1:17.)

Scriptures supporting our mission statement:

Exodus 4:11 New Century Version (NCV) ¹¹ Then the Lord said to him, “Who made a person’s mouth? And who makes someone deaf or not able to speak? Or who gives a person sight or blindness? It is I, the Lord.

John 9:1-3 (NCV): ¹ As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been born blind. ² His followers asked him, “Teacher, whose sin caused this man to be born blind—his own sin or his parents’ sin?”

³ Jesus answered, “It is not this man’s sin or his parents’ sin that made him blind. This man was born blind so that God’s power could be shown in him.

John 1:17 (NCV): ¹⁷ The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
