Today, many Deaf individuals grew up in churches where there were no interpreters or support systems. Their primary language is not based on hearing loss. It is based on what they see and how they interpreted what they saw. As a result, many will say there are less than 3% of the Deaf community that will call themselves Christians.
ASL Christian founder, Dean DeRusso, wanted to find a better way to connect the Christian churches and bring people closer to good characters of being a Christian. Of course, Christians are not perfect but they learn morals and values through their faith in Christ.
Thank you, please pray for ASL Christians and God’s guidance on making this happen. It’s His work not ours.
In Christ,
Dean “Rex” DeRusso
