Rev. Dennis Konkel a deaf pastor sermon “The Bronze Snake”

It’s amazing.  When trying to explain to many people why Jesus alone saves us not by our work.  It is the grace of our faith in Jesus Christ alone that saves us.

But, often people say that Christians do not practice the Old Testament.  That is not true.  Christians do follow the Old Testament.  If we look at some great stories like the story of Moses Numbers 21:4-9.

We will remember how the New Testament will fulfill the Old Testament.  We can not live with one book.  We need them both because both were written by the inspiration of God.   Below is a video blog made by Rev. Dennis Konkel who is a deaf pastor.  I believe that he actually made a great video blog that helps us see something.  And, good news, it is captioned for the sign language impaired people.

Bible teaches Ephesians 2:8-9 (NCV) 8 I mean that you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God.9 It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it.

One thing we will find as we become a Christian.   We will desire to know Jesus when we get saved.  Wouldn’t you want to know who he is because he loved you enough to allow you to work or not.  But, it is his work that works in your life when you accept him.

Hope you enjoy the video blog.  And, hopefully soon ASL Christians will start using working on their own Video Blogs.

In Christ,

Dean “Rex” DeRusso
